Practise capitals alongside joined handwriting
This sheet provides uppercase A–Z models. Use it to practise clear capitals for names and sentence beginnings alongside your usual handwriting work.
- Choose three capitals from a name or a short sentence.
- Copy each capital, checking its height and shape.
- Write a name using a capital first letter and lowercase letters after it.
Try this example
Write A, then Anna, then “Anna has a book.” Compare the capital A with the smaller lowercase letters.
The resource keeps its existing cursive title, but capital practice does not mean joining every capital to the following letter. Follow your school’s handwriting model.
